A multi-omics analysis of Actinokineospora bangkokensis 44EHWT showed that N-acetylglucosamine acts as a pathway-specific regulator rather than a universal activator of biosynthetic gene clusters. Metabolomic profiling detected 493 induced features and enrichment of cyclic peptides and polyketides, while transcriptomic data revealed complex regulation underlying increased bioactive metabolite production.
