Phosphorylation-Dependent Regulation of Fungal Primordium Development: Insights from Ophiocordyceps sinensis

1 min read

This study investigates the phosphorylation-dependent regulation of primordium formation in Ophiocordyceps sinensis using quantitative phosphoproteomics. It identifies 400 differentially phosphorylated proteins and highlights MAPK signaling, exocytosis and oxidative stress pathways. Functional studies in Cordyceps militaris demonstrate that Ste7 is essential for primordium development.
